Lao Mudmee Wall Hanging or Shawl

This Lao traditional, multicoloured "mudmee" (ikat) design is repeated on both ends. It was created by a weaving gallery in Vientiane, the capital of Laos, to preserve traditional natural dyes and patterns.

• naturally dyed and handwoven in Laos at a centre for traditional silk and natural dye preservation
• the pattern appears on both ends, with a solid block pattern in the middle of the hanging/shawl
