How to Tie Scarves

We're often asked how to tie a scarf or how to wear a scarf. It's easy! Here are a few ideas to get you going.

Classic Drape

Good for shorter scarves. Just drape around your neck.

Classic Flip

Throw 1 end over a shoulder. Easy and casual.

Double Flip

Bring both ends to the front. Warmer, yet casual.

Single Knot

Simply use a loose, overhand knot.

Fake Bow

Make a tidy knot in the centre of the scarf & place under chin. Cross the ends behind your neck & slip through the knot in opposite directions, then tighten.

Fake Knot

Tie a neat knot in 1 end & slip the other end through.

Double Wrap

Wrap the scarf around your neck & toss the ends behind you. Tie a loose knot behind your neck if you like.

European Formal

Fold the scarf in half & slip both loose ends through the folded end, then line them up.

European Casual

Fold the scarf in half & slip both loose ends through the folded end, then fan out the ends.

Wrap Around

Place the scarf at the front of your neck, then bring the ends around your neck and back to the front. Tie in an overhand knot.

Twist

Fold the scarf lengthwise, then drape it around your neck. Twist 1 end around the other 2 times, then tie behind your neck.

Square Knot

Place the scarf around your neck. Tie a double knot using the same end of the scarf for both knots.
