Big Brother Mouse - Books in Lao that Make Literacy Fun

We love Big Brother Mouse, a vibrant book publishing venture in Laos that makes literacy fun. For every textile piece we sell, we donate a book to a child in Laos through Big Brother Mouse.

Thanks to the support of TAMMACHAT customers (and many others), beautifully illustrated books in the Lao language are distributed through "book parties" to village schools. In 2008 Big Brother Mouse held 196 books parties. In 2012, they held 903, bringing 270,000 books directly to children. We're proud to be part of this important work.
